What is Generation’89 Group?

We are a group of young people, born in a very important time of the history of our continent. We do care about the future of Europe and that is why we want to be the active ambassadors of our generation in a pan-European forum.

We are not any political group and we do not want to be perceived as any politically influenced organization nor party. Our website is the platform for exchanging our views, opinions and ideas as well as a place to create the vision of our Generation’89 Group.

Most of us have participated in the Generation’89 project on April 2010, which commemorated the fall of the communist systems in Europe. After the meetings in four European cities - Brussels, Bucharest, Prague and Warsaw - we decided to stay in touch and to continue working on our projects and... minding the future of Europe, as our motto says.

We are still not an official organization nor association, though we are going to establish an official status and a plan of actions for the nearest future.

If you are a young European, not necessarily born in 1989, and you fell responsible for the future of our continent, just join us! For the time being, only a participation in the FORUM discussions is possible as our group’s activity, nevertheless we are looking forward to working on our projects in few months, so the possibilities of taking part in Generation’89 Group actions will be definitely increasing.
